1. What we do

GetFundReady prepares grant applications for New Zealand community organisations. You choose a fund, tell us about your organisation and your project, and we write a complete application pack for you to review and submit.

We are a preparation service. We are not a funder, not a broker, and not your agent with any funder.

2. You are the applicant

Your organisation is always the applicant of record. That means:

• You submit the application yourself, under your own login, on the funder's own portal.
• You sign every declaration. We never sign anything on your behalf.
• We never log into a funder portal as you, and we will not ask for your funder login.
• Any grant is paid directly to your organisation. We never handle grant money.

3. Prices

Every fund has its own price, because every funder demands a different amount of work. A 15-question Lottery application is not a 72-question Pub Charity application, and we do not price them as if they were.

The price for a fund is shown on its card on the funds page before you buy, and it is the price you pay. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Payment is taken up front, by card, before we start drafting.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.

A fund only gets a price once we hold that funder's real application form, question for question. Funds we track but have not transcribed are listed without a price and cannot be ordered.

4. Ready Members

Ready Members membership costs $49 per month. It includes two applications each billing month at member price, roughly 90% below the list price for that fund. Any further applications in the same month are charged at half the list price.

• The allowance is two applications per billing month. It does not roll over into the next month.
• Member prices are tied to the email address on your membership.
• Membership renews monthly until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing month you have already paid for, and part-months are not refunded.
• Applications already ordered at member price are unaffected by cancelling.

To cancel, email info@getfundready.co.nz and we will action it and confirm in writing.

5. What we deliver

Every application pack contains five pieces:

• The application itself, answering the funder's own questions in your organisation's words, inside their word limits.
• A project budget laid out the way that fund expects.
• A community impact statement.
• Two letters of support, written as templates for the partners you name to sign.
• A twelve-month funding calendar for your organisation.

Your completed pack is with you within three working days of receiving your complete intake answers. If something in your answers is missing or unclear, we will email you within one working day rather than guess.

If the pack we deliver is not fit to submit, tell us and we will fix it at no charge.

6. No guarantee of a grant

Nobody can guarantee a grant, and we do not. Funders decide, every round is contested, and part-funding is common. You are paying for the preparation work, not for an outcome.

Nothing on this site is a promise, prediction, or representation that your organisation will be funded, or funded in any particular amount.

7. Refunds

The fee pays for the drafting, so:

• If a funder declines your application, the fee is not refunded. You keep the whole pack and can reuse it on the next fund.
• If the pack is not fit to submit, we fix it free. That is the remedy for defective work.
• If you cancel before we have started drafting, we will refund you in full.
• If we cannot prepare your application at all, for example the round closes before we can deliver, we refund you in full.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those Acts apply to you.

8. Your part

We can only write from what you tell us. You agree that:

• The information you give us about your organisation, your project and your numbers is true and accurate.
• You have the authority to apply for funding on behalf of your organisation.
• You will read the whole pack before submitting it, and you are responsible for what you submit.
• You will name real supporters for letters of support, and get their agreement before using them.

We do not invent evidence, numbers, quotes or supporters. If we cannot substantiate something, it does not go in the pack.

9. Who owns the pack

Once you have paid, the pack is yours. You can edit it, reuse it on other funds, and keep it for future rounds without asking us.

We may keep an internal copy for our records and to help with your later applications. We do not resell your pack or reuse your organisation's story for anyone else.

10. Funder names and logos

GetFundReady is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting for any funder named on this site.

Funder names and logos appear only to identify whose fund each application is for. All trade marks remain the property of their owners. Fund criteria and closing dates are shown as we last verified them against the funder's own page, and every fund links to that page. Dates move, so check the funder's page before you rely on anything here.

11. Liability

We take care with your application, but we are not liable for a funding decision, for a funder's process, or for a deadline missed after the pack has been delivered to you.

Where we are liable to you, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the application in question. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you paid. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.

13. Privacy

What we collect

When you fill in the intake form we collect your organisation's name, your name and role, your email address, your phone number if you give one, your charity or incorporated society number, and what you tell us about your project and community.

Why we hold it

We use it to write your application and to contact you about it. That is the only reason we ask for it.

Who else sees it

Nobody, unless you ask us to send it somewhere. We never sell your information and we never pass it to a funder without your say-so. Card payments are handled by Stripe, who receive the details needed to take the payment; we never see your card number.

How long we keep it

We keep your intake and your pack so we can help with later applications. Email us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@getfundready.co.nz and we will action it.
