Auckland Airport Community Trust Responsive Grant

Who can apply

• Organisations must be either a registered charity or be able to demonstrate charitable purpose
• Organisations must either be situated within the Trusts 'Area of Benefit' or be able to demonstrate the grant they are applying for is tagged specifically for the community within the Area of Benefit
• Applications from collaborative groups of organisations will be considered where a fund holder is nominated and listed as the primary applicant
• Projects must be undertaken solely for the community within the Trusts 'Area of Benefit', have a charitable purpose, and fit with the current Trust priorities
• Area of Benefit covers parts of these South Auckland suburbs: Papatoetoe, Manukau Central, Ōtara (south), Whitford, Clover Park, Māngere (south), Flat Bush, Wiri (north)
• Organisations outside the Area of Benefit may apply for partial funding where a reasonable percentage of beneficiaries live in the Area of Benefit, the funder gives the example of a staff member spending 50% of their time in the Area of Benefit
• Per the FAQ: "Yes, if you are able to demonstrate clearly in your application that the work you do is directly helping those within our community you may still apply" (for organisations working in, but not located in, the Area of Benefit)

• Learning through play, reading and sport for children and young people
• Activities that bring communities together and engage whanau
• Health, wellbeing and access to services in the Area of Benefit
